The texture of The Ordinary B5 serum is slightly thick. When applied to the hand, it will be a little thick, but after around two minutes, it will dry up entirely. The product quickly absorbs into the skin, hydrating it thoroughly leaving the skin feeling wonderfully smooth and fresh. Personal experience
For people that one a solution to hydrate face skin or a product to use before retinol, The Ordinary B5 is recommended. The serum felt a little sticky when I initially applied it to my face. I gave it a little pat, let it absorb for approximately 1-2 minutes, and then immediately applied moisturizer. My skin became much softer and smoother after using it consistently for a week. I’ve used this serum to soothe my skin after lots of travelling, which reduced the redness on my face.
